JLL recently helped close a 764,000-square-foot industrial lease deal in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
AM General, a specialty automotive parts and assembly company, leased the space. JLL executive vice presidents Steve Schwegman and Brian Seitz represented the building owner, VERIET. Greg Pink of the Bradley Companies in South Bend, Indiana, represented the buyer.
AM General will use the space to store Mercedes car bodies, which will be fully assembled at a production facility in Mishawaka, Indiana. The cars will then be shipped to China for sale.
