St. Louis’ premier downtown office high-rise, One Metropolitan Square, continues to draw new tenants, including offices for a national law firm and the regional home for Fox Sports.
JLL, the firm managing the 42-story Class-A office building, announced that it has recently signed leases with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani for 6,540 square feet on the 21st floor and with Fox Sports for 2,391 square feet on the 12th floor. Total occupancy in the building is closely approaching 85 percent.
GRSM is a San Francisco-based law firm with 900 employees in 68 offices across the U.S. This year, the firm announced that it was the first law firm in the country to have an office in every state. Fox Sports has been sharing offices with Fox Sports Midwest, but is now relocating to One Metropolitan Square as Fox Sports Midwest moves into Ballpark Village.
The announcements are part of a series of 2019 additions to the building’s tenant lineup. ComPsych, a Chicago-based provider of workplace behavioral health and wellness services, leased 4,094 square feet in August, bringing 20-40 employees to the location. FGM Architects, occupying about 10,500 square feet, and NGK Law Firm, with about 6,000 square feet, both relocated to the building this summer from a nearby office building. Co-working giant WeWork entered the St. Louis market with a splash in August, leasing 60,000 square feet on the 22nd and 23rd floors of One Metropolitan Square. Large blocks of office space, 15,000 sf to 56,000 sf, still remain available on the top two floors (a portion formerly occupied by Kemolls).
