
JLL Capital Markets added Erik Johnson to the firm as a Senior Director in its Minneapolis Capital Markets team.
In this role, Johnson will focus on debt and equity advisory assignments across all commercial property types, working alongside clients to structure and place financing solutions that align with their investment strategies and capital needs.
Johnson brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience to JLL, with deep expertise in structuring debt solutions across the full spectrum of property types and capital sources. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President/Principal at Peakhill Capital, where he advised commercial real estate investors on debt and equity solutions.
Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Venture Commercial Mortgage (which was then acquired by Peakhill), advancing from Vice President to Principal, and nine years as Vice President at Welsh Capital prior to that. Throughout his career, Johnson has cultivated strong relationships with life insurance companies, agency lenders, commercial banks, debt funds, CMBS lenders and other institutional capital providers.
