JLL Capital Markets brokered the sale of 560-562 E. Bunker Court, a 73,150-square-foot multi-tenant light industrial property in Vernon Hills, Illinois, within Lake County’s Chicago metropolitan area.
JLL represented JMS Capital Group in the sale to Wisconsin-based Luther Group. The transaction marks the firm’s second Illinois acquisition as it expands beyond the Greater Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin region.
The property sits strategically at the intersection of Illinois Route 21 and Illinois Route 60, providing immediate access to Interstate 94 and serving Chicago’s affluent North Shore communities. Built in 1990 on 4.41 acres, the facility features 24-foot clear heights, three interior recessed loading docks, three drive-in doors and 227 parking stalls.
The building is currently fully leased to four tenants with a 5.2-year contractual weighted average lease term. The tenant roster spans home appliance, sports and recreation and water and wastewater treatment industries. Each tenant has invested significantly in specialized build-outs tailored to their unique operational requirements.
The property is positioned within Continental Executive Parke, a 600-acre master-planned business park originally developed by Prentiss Properties. The location benefits from proximity to major corporate occupiers, including CDW and Heathrow Scientific, while nearby amenities include Hawthorn Mall, Mellody Farm retail and various dining and shopping destinations.
