Hiro Poke Co. will open July 9 in The Eatery, a food hall dining destination on the ground floor of One Metropolitan Square in downtown St. Louis. JLL helped negotiate the lease.

The restaurant will be the fourth tenant to open, bringing The Eatery to full capacity. The 10,000-square-foot food hall has become a top lunch destination in downtown St. Louis.

“There is no question, The Eatery has helped breathe new life and energy into the Central Business District,” said Rick Spector, in a written statement.

Hiro Poke Co. is the sister company of Hiro Asian Kitchen, which is also located in downtown St. Louis. Poke is cubed and marinated rar ahi tuna with specialty seasonings served over a bed of rice or greens.

The 601W Companies, owners of One Metropolitan Square, last year invested $2.5 million into renovating the space now ocucpied by The Eatery.
