Sara Martin has joined the Minneapolis retail team of JLL as executive vice president. Martin has nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in retail and land brokerage in the Greater Minneapolis area.
Before joining JLL, Martin worked in the retail sector for a globally recognized commercial real estate firm since her hiring in 2003.
As executive vice resident, Martin will work closely with JLL’s retail team to grow the retail business line across industry verticals and support the recruitment of additional team members. She will focus her endeavors on the representation of landlords, tenants and investors, assisting with everything from representation to site selection, project management and build-to-suit projects.
Martin has completed more than 3 million square feet in transactions amounting to more than $300 million. In 2020, she was recognized as Minnesota Real Estate Journal’s Woman of the Year.
Martin is a member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Some of her clients include Chick-fil-A, Kohl’s and Regency Centers among many other popular brands and agency relationships.
