JLL has been selected as a strategic leasing partner for J. Jeffers & Co. The real estate development and investment firm, led by developer Josh Jeffers, has been rapidly growing its Milwaukee portfolio.
JLL executive vice president Matt Hunter will handle the leasing and marketing efforts for J. Jeffers’ properties at 633 W. Wisconsin, 600 N. Broadway, 777 N. Jefferson and 518 N. Water Street.
J. Jeffers’ portfolio includes projects in the office, industrial, multi-family, retail and assisted-living sectors, but the firm has shown a particular interest in some of downtown Milwaukee’s more historic buildings.
Last year Jeffers purchased the four-story office building at 600 N. Broadway and the 20-story building at 633 W. Wisconsin, where it’s planning to redevelop the 48,000-square-foot former Greyhound Bus Terminal. In March, the company brought 518 N. Water Street into its portfolio, and most recently purchased the 158-year-old four-story building at 777 N. Jefferson.
JLL will handle the leasing for all four properties.
