JLL has been selected to lease Cincinnati’s landmark building of innovation and culture, The Strietmann Center, on behalf of Grandin Properties.
Located at 231 W. 12th St. in Cincinnati, the property includes 77,434 square feet of Class-A office space and 13,848 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Office leasing efforts will be led by JLL Senior Vice President Michelle Klingenberg.
The Strietmann Center, originally built in 1899, boasts unique, stylish architectural features. As a part of the iconic building’s current renovation, architectural features are combined with modern chrome, concrete and hardwood flooring. Renovated with sustainability in mind, the building is Gold LEED certified and features the first solar panels installed in Cincinnati’s urban core.
“The Strietmann Center is already a hot spot for this generation,” said Peg Wyant, Grandin Properties President and CEO. “A modern, energetic and inviting space like this will undoubtedly motivate, inspire and attract stronger talent. The Strietmann Center’s contemporary and collaborative floor plans allow just that—and with a modern and sustainable touch.”
The Strietmann Center appeals to high energy, best of class, creative companies. Located on what is becoming the city’s Champs-Élysées, this iconic building stands at the intersection of the past—Music Hall and the Museum Center—and the future with the opening of the FC Cincinnati TQL Stadium. This is already proven with companies including Saatchi and Saatchi X, Epsilon, Gyro, PG One, NaviStone and Contact Control Interfaces.
“The Strietmann Center offers the largest floorplates in Over the Rhine, which allows for flexibility in an office buildout,” said Klingenberg. “Tenants are able to customize the space to meet the needs of their workforce. Paired with the first-class amenities on-site, this opportunity is an environment for any business to succeed.”
Tenants can take advantage of the rooftop terrace, showers, bike storage and the newly-renovated, 15,000-square-foot adjacent YMCA. The property also offers tenants a spectacular 360-degree view from the Penthaus, ample parking and is close to Interstate 71, Interstate 75, the Lunken Airport and the CVG Airport.
Earlier this year, JLL also took over leasing at the eCenter in Cincinnati for Grandin Properties.
