JLL Kansas City has been awarded the leasing and marketing assignment of about 148,000 square feet at the Brush Creek Place I and II office plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.
The two buildings, owned by Nine Zero Properties, have undergone a rebranding project featuring a new name and logo to better align their prime location and aesthetic surroundings with the offerings tenants are provided. This will also help to continue differentiating the buildings in the Greater Kansas City area.
Leasing efforts will be led by JLL’s RJ Trowbridge, Jeff Kembel and Patrick Meraz.
Upon completing a naming convention study, Nine Zero Properties worked with JLL to rebrand the properties to Brush Creek Place, paying homage to its highly attractive location and surroundings. Brush Creek runs along the southern edge of the properties and Country Club Plaza, creating a setting that is both scenic and convenient for tenants to enjoy.
Located within Country Club Plaza, the premier outdoor retail district of Kansas City, Brush Creek Place offers convenient access to more than 800,000 square feet of the area’s most desirable retailers, dining establishments, and hotels. The property also sits along the newly announced expansion of Kansas City’s Streetcar line. A new stop will be added in front of Brush Creek Place by 2025, further enhancing accessibility to and from the Central Business District (CBD) and surrounding neighborhoods.
Brush Creek Place is equipped with several amenities exclusive to tenants, including its onsite restaurant, Grand Street Café, and ample covered parking.
JLL Research shows that today’s companies are after true live-work-play environments that engage employees and offer hospitality-like conveniences. This trend is evidenced by Brush Creek Place’s current occupancy, with only two remaining vacancies.
Of the two properties, Brush Creek Place I currently has two availabilities: a third-floor suite totaling 7,343 square feet, and a seventh-floor suite totaling 4,741 square feet and in shell condition, ideal for tenants looking to customize and implement a new buildout.
