Jones Lang LaSalle recently completed a 54,000-square-foot lease transaction for Bank of America Plaza in St. Louis. Brown & James, a full-service business, appellate advocacy and litigation law firm, is moving to the 30-story building.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s David Steinbach and David Biales are the exclusive leasing agents for the building, which is located at 800 Market Street in the heart of the St. Louis downtown business district. The 750,000-square-foot building, with its octagonal-shaped glass façade, is a prominent part of the city’s skyline. The building was purchased two years ago by Positive Investments, Inc., a Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm that has focused on revitalizing the building’s leasing efforts.
Brown & James is scheduled to move into the building in Octoer of this year.
“This lease further demonstrates the building owner’s commitment to attracting and keeping high-quality tenants,” said Steinbach, a Jones Lang LaSalle senior vice president. “The building offers high-quality amenities, plus the added benefit of being close to federal and state courthouses, which is important to the legal community.”
Don Weis, first vice president, and John Warren, senior associate, of CBRE represented Brown & James in the transaction.
