Jones Lang LaSalle has been named as the new leasing agent for the 142,000-square-foot industrial/distribution facility at 1400 Harris Road in north suburban Libertyville following the building’s recent acquisition by the New Jersey-based real estate investment firm The Silverman Group.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s Steve Trapp, Kurt Sarbaugh and Robin Stolberg will lead the assignment.
The building, one of two buildings that comprise the Liberty Point Corporate Center, includes 110,427 square feet of available space (divisible to 31,351 square feet) as well as 11 dock doors, ESFR sprinklers, parking for 218 cars and 26-foot celling clears.
Other tenants include Culligan International Co., Tire Centers LLC and Laser Precision. The building was constructed in 2007.
The Silverman Group acquired both Liberty Point buildings, which are located just west of the Interstate 94/Route 137 interchange, in late January.
“We are extremely excited about our firm’s new acquisition and entry into the greater Chicago industrial market as we begin working with the Jones Lang LaSalle team,” said Blake Silverman, president of Silverman Group. “We see this as the first of many acquisitions and are looking to grow our industrial portfolio substantially with focus on this market”
