Kansas City, Missouri-based McCownGordon Construction is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its founding in 2019. To mark this milestone, the company moved into its new corporate headquarters building and refreshed its brand by unveiling a new logo.
“We were founded in Kansas City and are committed to growing here,” said Ramin Cherafat, chief executive officer of McCownGordon. “Our new headquarters building is a testament to our passion for this great community.”
McCownGordon recently opened an office in Wichita, Kansas, and is working on projects from South Dakota to Oklahoma.
The company’s new headquarters building opened at 850 Main St. in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 6. The 51,270-square-foot building features a “neighborhood” seating layout designed to encourage more collaboration across business units and departments. Designed by Helix Architecture, the building features floor-to-ceiling windows, natural wood and metal accents throughout, polished concrete floors and a custom mural by artist Ken Dela, symbolizing the company’s 20-year history.
The refreshed McCownGordon brand retains the red and black colors associated with McCownGordon. Red triangles in the mark represent the company’s core values as well as its progress, growth and innovative approach to doing business.
