Kansas City’s McCownGordon Construction was named General Contractor of the Year by the American Subcontractors Association of Greater Kansas City during the association’s awards banquet June 21.
Awards are given to firms and professionals who excelled in the construction industry during the past year. They include four subcategories: subcontractor, project manager, superintendent and general contractor.
This marks the eighth year that McCownGordon has been named a finalist for the General Contractor of the Year award and the 12th year the company has been nominated.
“This honor is a direct reflection of our team living out our core values every day in the work we do within the community,” said Ramin Cherafat, chief executive officer for McCownGordon.
