Kansas City, Missouri-based real estate development firm NorthPoint Development has re-branded its existing third-party brokerage firm as Beyond Brokerage. Beyond Brokerage works in the office, retail, land and multifamily sectors with experience in leasing, sales, site selection, consulting services and investment transactions.
The brokerage agency has been active since 2008, but began serving its clients as Beyond Brokerage in December of last year.
“NorthPoint has a great reputation and we are lucky to part of that, but not everyone realized we could offer our depth of services to others seeking real estate solutions through our third-party brokerage business,” said Jayme Miller, a commercial broker with Beyond Brokerage. “Although we have been around for years, we wanted to clarify our capacity to serve beyond traditional brokerage within the Kansas City real estate market.”
What separates Beyond Brokerage from its competitors is that the small, nimble team can execute on complex solutions with institutional-level resources but with a boutique level of customer service.
Brian Votava, supervising broker, said, “Brokers often succumb to a transaction-based mentality. Our boutique, consultative approach comes from being owners, lessors, buyers and sellers of real estate ourselves with a long-term relationship goal. When we say we can put ourselves in our clients’ shoes, we actually can.”
Beyond Brokerage also can leverage the resources that have been developed for its parent company, NorthPoint Development. This includes engineers, architects, incentive experts, data scientist, designers and attorneys.
