Kansas City-based Zimmer Real Estate Services earned several awards from both the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors (RCA-KC) and the Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Women (KC CREW) during separate events held Feb. 17.
Zimmer earned the Home Run Award during the RCA-KC event for the role it played in the land sale and development of the new NNSA/National Security Campus in South Kansas City. Mark Long, from Zimmer, brokered this transaction. The land was purchased by CenterPoint Zimmer LLC, a joint development venture between CenterPoint Properties Trust and Zimmer.
This merged company is developing the $1 billion, 1.5-million-square-foot five-building campus for the United States General Services Administration.
Zimmer also received the Impact Award during the KC CREW 2010 Impact Awards. Again, Zimmer’s work with the National Security Campus led to this award.
