Kansas City, Mo.-based Zimmer Real Estate Services now has a new name and partnership. After operating under its previous name for 20 years, the company is now Newmark Grubb Zimmer.
Zimmer has partnered with New York-based Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, a global commercial real estate firm.
In a written statement, Hugh Zimmer, chief executive officer of Zimmer Real Estate Services, the move made sense for the company.
“(Newmark Grubb Knight Frank) is financially strong with a proven track record in management and expertise,” Zimmer said in his statement. “Partnering with NGKF is an evolutionary step forward in our company’s future.”
