Kansas City, Mo.-based Karbank Real Estate Company LLP/CORFAC International recently completed a build-to-suit development lease and two additional lease transactions with a pair of automotive industry industrial users. The three transactions totaled nearly 850,000 square feet.

After a two-year site selection process, LMV Automotive Systems, a manufacturing division of Cosma International, signed a lease for a 212,500-square-foot, build-to-suit manufacturing facility on 45 acres in Liberty, Mo. Olen Monsees, president of Karbank, along with Karbank senior vice president Jack Allen represented LMV Automotive in the site selection, incentive analysis and long-term lease. LMV is new to the area and brings 156 new jobs to the Kansas City area.

Separately, Jack Allen and Howard Moss with Omni LLC represented Comprehensive Logistics in a lease renewal and expansion of warehouse space. Comprehensive Logistics, a just-in-time parts supplier of automotive parts to General Motors, leased 517,000 square feet in Kansas City, Kan. The company had grown from 220,000 square feet to its current size in the last two years.

In addition, Comprehensive Logistics also leased a 120,000-square-foot facility next door. Allen and Moss represented the company in that transaction, also. Santa Monica, CA-based BH Properties owns both of the Comprehensive Logistics properties.

Terms of the transactions were not available.
