Keefer’s Restaurant, a high-end steak house that has been a River North fixture for more than 10 years, has renewed its lease on 10,650 square feet of space at Dearborn Plaza, The Alter Group’s 17-story, 385,000-square-foot office building at 20 West Kinzie Street.
Keefer’s is owned and managed by a partnership consisting of Glenn R. Keefer, previously vice president of operations for T.J. Moran Management, L.L.C., the owners of Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses; James E. de Castro, the retired vice chairman of AMFM, Inc.; and Richard Keefer, also previously affiliated with Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
John Hogan has been Keefer’s executive chef since the restaurant opened 10 years ago.
