Keeley Construction is partnering with Helukabel USA on a 132,000-square-foot expansion of its industrial facility at 1201 Wesman Drive in West Dundee, Illinois.
The project will introduce new warehouse, office and climate-controlled manufacturing space, marking the first time that manufacturing will occur onsite at Helukabel’s existing location.
Facility upgrades include a 9-inch-thick floor slab with an isolated area designed specifically for a twister machine; custom red storefront framing; two new EV-charging stations; an expanded office space with a gym, cable testing and assembly areas, new locker rooms, showers and a modern breakroom; design-build mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; and two new depressed dock positions with retaining walls.
Keeley’s project team is led by Paul Jennrich, senior project manager; Dan Zboncak,senior superintendent; and Dorothy Mateo, project coordinator.
Project partners include Skedio Architecture, J&H and Benchmark Developers.
