Kessinger Hunter has been engaged to oversee two real estate portfolios in the Kansas City, Missouri, market. The assignment encompasses about 8.1 million square feet of industrial, retail and office space.

The portfolio includes such notable properties as the Kansas City Star building and the Rosana Square retail complex in Overland Park, Kansas.

Kessinger Hunter will manage and lease the 2.5-million-square-foot portfolio consisting of industrial, office and retail owned by the Privitera family, more widely recognized by its flagship operating company, Mark One Electric. The team of Matthew Severns, Kurt Jensen, Joe Heinzler and Sher Blandford will administer the leasing activities.

In addition, Kessinger Hunter will manage 5.6 million square feet of industrial buildings owned by a Kansas City-based owner/developer in the states of Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
