Professional services firm MGO LLP welcomed Kevin O’Brien as supervisor and core team member of its new Chicago office. MGO’s flagship Midwest office is serving a wide array of industries ranging from cannabis, life sciences and biotech to real estate, professional services and closely held businesses.
The Chicago-based team led by directors Sarah McGuire and Barbara Webb, is spearheading the firm’s Midwest expansion, including a rapidly growing roster of clients across the Midwest.

O’Brien serves a national client base and will manage a number of tax advisory engagements, providing guidance on federal, state and local tax issues for MGO clients ranging from start-ups to publicly traded corporations. Together with Webb, he will deliver innovative tax solutions for clients in a variety of industries including financial services, banking, consumer lending, insurance brokerage, private equity, broker/dealers and cannabis.
