KIG has created a heat map comparison of new construction permits to demolition permits from 2006 to 2015 using open portal data. The heat map can be watched on YouTube. Note the cluster of demolition permits filed in Englewood from 2006 through 2015.

“There is an unprecedented amount of public and private data available today. No one needs more data. They need a way to leverage the data they have to make sound investment decisions and maximize returns,” says Marc Rutzen, Data Analytics Officer for KIG.
