Cushman & Wakefield has advised Kraft Foods Group Inc. on the 679,000-square-foot sale-leaseback of its headquarters in Northfield. The campus was sold to W.P. Carey, a real estate investment trust. Kraft Foods Group Inc. has leased the building on a long-term basis.
A Cushman & Wakefield team led by Michael Rotchford, Louis Wolfowitz, Robert Elms, Ned Franke and Christopher Porter advised Kraft.
Kraft Foods Group Inc. recently made significant renovations to the building and plans to relocate approximately 700 employees to the building from its old headquarters in Glenview by the end of 2013.
