Kraus-Anderson has begun an extensive renovation of Sunnyside Elementary School for the Mounds View School District. Sunnyside Elementary is located at 2070 County H in New Brighton, Minnesota.
Designed by Wold Architects and Engineers, the project features five new classrooms and flexible learning spaces as well as new conference and break-out rooms. In total, KA will also be remodeling 11,500 square feet of space, which will include an updated kitchen and student cafeteria. In addition, renovations will include an increase in square footage to the band and orchestra areas, a new bus parking lot, increased storage capacity and additional lavatory facilities.
The project is expected to be completed in late fall of 2020.
