Kraus-Anderson has “topped off” The Larking with the last steel beam. The topping-off milestone commemorates the construction progress of the new 16-story residential tower and Wells Fargo branch at 8th and Portland Ave. in downtown Minneapolis.

The Larking is a mixed-use development featuring a 3,500-square-foot Wells Fargo facility and a residential complex that will deliver 341 market-rate apartments. The mixed-use development also will include 12,900 square feet of street retail. The Larking broke ground July of 2019 and is expected to be completed in spring of 2022.

KA is also reporting it has experienced no lost time accidents or recordable injuries on the Larking project. KA has been honored with the Governor’s Safety Award for 29 consecutive years.
