The new school will house 1,400 students. It will replace the district’s Jefferson High School, which was initially built in 1957.
The 280,000-square-foot school has two three-story academic wings with 36 classrooms, 12 learning spaces for small and large groups, science labs, technology and engineering lab, art rooms, media center and special-education classrooms.
