The Milwaukee office of Kraus-Anderson Construction has been selected to build the new corporate headquarters for Enerpac Tool Group in downtown Milwaukee.
Currently located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Enerpac Tool Group will be relocating into the former ASQ Center at 648 N. Plankinton Ave. The building will be renamed Enerpac Center and will occupy 50,000 square feet of the fourth floor. American Society for Quality (ASQ) will continue to house its headquarters in Enerpac Center.
Enerpac Tool Group is a global manufacturer of industrial tools employing more than 2,100 worldwide. Approximately 130 employees will relocate downtown to Enerpac Center.
Creative Business Interiors of Milwaukee provided full interior architectural design services. The project will have an industrial aesthetic to reflect the client’s work, including finishes such as sealed concrete flooring, metal panels and industrial-style light fixtures.
The project will feature a research and testing lab, open collaborative spaces, large conference rooms and offices with industrial-style glass walls. The project will also include a fitness studio, eat-in café and updated restrooms with shower rooms.
A full interior demolition of existing spaces will begin in early March and will combine the 4th floors of the existing north and south buildings, which are currently separate buildings. Construction will begin in late April and is expected to be completed in late 2024 or early 2025.
