The Rochester, Minn., office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has been tagged to build a new United South Central School in Wells, Minn.
The new 155,000-square-foot K-12 school replaces a former school building, portions of which were built in 1933.
The $2.8 million school will sit on a 66-acre site. It will feature a new bus garage and athletic facilities. The school will serve about 625 students.
Construction will begin in the spring of 2013 and is expected to wrap up by September of 2014.
