Kraus-Anderson has completed a new $12.3 million community pool and other athletic improvements for Baldwin-Woodville Area School at 100 13th Ave. in Baldwin, Wisconsin. In 2020, voters approved a $12.5 million district bond referendum to fund the 20,446-square foot project.
Designed by Wold Architects and Engineers, the expansion features a new 13,600-square foot pool with a fabric dome for year-round use, 6,000-square foot pool house, 116,000-square foot baseball turf field, 120,000-square foot football/soccer turf field and 9,000-square foot track. The new community pool clubhouse includes locker rooms, concessions, ticket office, stadium entry and new stadium LED lighting.
Baldwin-Woodville Area School is one of dozens of major K-12 construction projects KA will work on this year during its “Summer Sprint,” a critical, concentrated time during the summer months when school is not in session and when crews can perform work that ranges from new school construction to upgrades to deferred maintenance projects.
