Kraus-Anderson Construction Company recently completed RiverEast, a $21.9 million K-8 special education school for Saint Paul Public Schools. Located at 1055 Mackubin St. in St. Paul, Minnesota, the 71,100-square-foot school will open in September of 2018.
RiverEast School provides a special educational environment for students to develop the skills required to be successful through academics, school-based therapy and positive relationships. The school’s small class size features no more than eight students per teacher to provide individualized attention. A maximum of 80 students will be enrolled at the school.
RiverEast was designed by BWBR, a health and education design firm that has developed the innovations for these unique learning environments.
