Kraus-Anderson professionals named to construction leadership posts

Two professionals with Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson have been named to local construction leadership positions. 

The Twin Cities Chapter of the Association of Women Contractors (AWC) has elected KA Estimator Lisa David to its board of directors.  The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has named KA Senior Project Manager David Kray Chair of the 2021 Market Leadership Advisory Board (MLAB). 

Lisa David has worked as an estimator on projects in numerous building sectors, including higher education, government, healthcare and K-12 education.  She received a B.A. in Architecture from Clemson University, Clemson, S.C.  David was a state board member of the Wisconsin American Institute of Architects (AIA) and committee member of AIA Southwest Wisconsin Emerging Professionals, and served as chapter president of a Wisconsin affiliate of Toastmasters. 

She also is a mentor with the Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program, and member of the KA Inclusion & Diversity Committee, KA Inclusion Task Force and KA University’s Leadership Development Program.

Since 1996, David Kray has managed many high-profile KA projects in Minnesota, including CityPlace in Woodbury, Galleria in Edina, Gold Medal Park in Minneapolis, University Enterprise Laboratories in St. Paul, VEAP in Bloomington, St. Luke’s Lakeview in Duluth and multiple projects for ZieglerCAT and Menards. 

He received his B.S. in Business Administration and Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Kray is certified LEED AP and is a member of the Minnesota Construction Association and U.S. Green Building Council, Minnesota Chapter.
