Kraus-Anderson has begun construction on a $9.1 million fire station at 1530 County Road C East in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Designed by SEH Architects, the new 38,000-square-foot Maplewood North Fire Station replaces the existing facility with seven apparatus bays, a garage space for five command vehicles and ambulances and administrative offices.
Amenities include a fenced vegetable garden, extensive landscaping, and wellness features and decontamination facilities that will benefit the health of the firefighters.
