Minneapolis’ Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has been selected to build two more Cabela’s stores — in Woodbury, N.Y., and Centerville, Ohio. The two locations will be the 25th and 26th Cabela’s stores built by Kraus-Anderson.
The 90,000-square-foot store in Woodbury, N.Y., is adjacent to the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets near the intersection of Highway 6 and 17 at Averill Avenue on Long Island. Cabela’s 70,000-square-foot store Centerville, Ohio, store, serving the greater Dayton area, is located in the Cornerstone at Centerville development off Exit 7 of Interstate 675 near Wilmington Pike.
Both locations are expected to open in the spring of 2016.
The stores’ interior will be built in Cabela’s next-generation layout. They are designed to surround customers in an outdoor-like experience and will include a large mountain replica, wildlife displays, indoor archery range and archery tech room, deli, gun library, bargain cave and fudge shop.
Cabela’s currently operates 64 stores across North America and has announced plans to open an additional 21 locations over the next three years.
