Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has been selected to renovate Windom Area Hospital located at 2150 Hospital Drive in Windom, Minn.
The $7 million project will add an 8,500-square-foot surgical department with two operating rooms and a 7,100-square-foot outreach clinic and main entrance to the facility. In addition, the project will include remodeling to address changing patient flows and staff efficiency, along with new parking and drive areas and relocating the existing Heli-pad.
Windom Area Hospital is managed by Sanford Health.
Architect selection is scheduled for the middle of March. Construction will begin this summer and is expected to be completed in August of 2015.
