Krusinski Construction Company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for Yamazen Inc.’s new headquarters located at 111 Northwest Point Boulevard in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The machine tool equipment distributor, a subsidiary of Yamazen Corporation Japan, will relocate operations and staff from Schaumburg upon completion in summer 2020.
Once complete, the two-story, 138,000-square-foot headquarters will feature approximately 50,000 square feet of private and open offices, conference rooms and the remaining area will consist of large spaces for product demonstrations and robotics. The distribution space will include two loading docks, two drive-in doors, 32-foot clear height and 137 car parking spaces.
The project team consists of Krusinski Construction Company as general contractors, Ketone Partners as owner representative, Cornerstone Architects, Ltd. as architect and V3 Companies, Ltd. as civil engineer. The building will allow for Yamazen’s future expansion of staff as it grows its three main divisions: machinery, tooling and automation, in the coming years.
