Krusinski Construction Company has been selected as the General Contractor for the construction of Geraghty North, an upscale event venue built from the ground up for Kehoe Designs in Northbrook, Illinois.
Located at 2100 Sanders Road, this building features an open main event space designed to host up to 600 guests, designed to create immersive environments for weddings, corporate events, celebrations and more.
Situated on a 4.78-acre site, the single-story 25,740-SF event destination allows for an expansive and customizable floor plan with folding partitions capable of adapting to any premium event environment. Prior to construction, Krusinski will be responsible for the demolition of an existing three-story, 100,000-SF office building.
Geraghty North represents another opportunity for KCC to deliver a high-quality project that combines thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and a memorable guest experience.
The significant elements of this event facility project will include:
- A welcoming exterior entrance featuring colorful landscaping and gardens lined with trees and walking pathways throughout.
- An indoor veranda with an air curtain that folds up into the ceiling for room layout customization abilities.
- Comprehensive food service and catering needs, with a back-of-house area for staging, setup and serving capabilities.
- High-end design and residential grade finishes showcasing skylights, limestone, brick detail, glazed storefront walls and ornamental steel canopy accents throughout.
The demolition and construction commenced in June 2026 and will follow a dedicated schedule to deliver the luxury venue for Kehoe Designs in January 2027.
Members of the project team include Joe Krusinski III, Senior Project Manager; Adam Catris & Tyler Pienda, Project Engineers; Bob Enger, Project Superintendent; and Erin Anderson, Project Coordinator. Harris Architects is serving as the project architect, and Cage Civil Engineering is serving as the Civil Engineer.
