Opus announced that KSI Auto Parts has signed a lease for the entire 100,456 square feet of Building A in its two-building Airport Corporate Center industrial development in Romulus, Michigan.
KSI’s lease of the building, which is located at 33200 Smith Road in Romulus, Mich., represents a strategic expansion in the market for the leading distributor of aftermarket collision automotive parts.
Airport Corporate Center is advantageously located just one mile from Interstate 94, three miles from Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport and 20 miles from downtown Detroit. The development itself sits on 22.7 acres on the southeast corner of Smith and Vining Roads, a busy intersection that provides great visibility as well as access to restaurants, hotels, gas stations and a range of logistics and corporate facilities.
Building B at Airport Corporate Center remains available for lease. That building, located at 33100 Smith Road, offers 170,088 square feet with a 32-foot clear height, 22 dock doors, 115 vehicle parking spaces and 28 trailer parking spaces. The building is being marketed for lease by Sean Cavanaugh and Dave MacDonald of JLL. Opus was the developer, design-builder and architect and structural engineer of record on the project.
