Kundan Group has recently negotiated several restaurant deals in Chicago, including the expansion of a Mexican restaurant, a tequila bar, and the opening of a new fast-casual pizza concept.
Kudan Group’s Scott Reinish recently negotiated the retail lease of 555 South State Street. The 1,745-square-foot space will be the new home of Spanglish Mexican Kitchen. Kevin A. Stanley and Yolanda Valle of U.S. Equities Realty represented the owner, while Reinish represented Frank Morales Jr. of La Cocina Mexican Grill at 45 North Wells and 178 N. Franklin. Morales plans to expand his La Cocina concept with the opening of Spanglish Mexican Kitchen.
David Bennett of Kudan Group, Inc. recently negotiated a retail lease at 555 West Kinzie. Bennett represented the tenant, Mario Gonzalez, while Sperry Van Ness’ Wayne Caplan represented the Fifield Development owned property. Mario Gonzalez, owner of Blue Agave Restaurant and Tequila Bar, will re-locate the Gold Coast staple to the Fulton River District neighborhood this fall.
Bennett and Mario Ponce of Kudan Group, Inc. recently negotiated the business sale of Aladdin’s Eatery at 614 West Diversey Parkway. Mario Ponce represented the seller, while David Bennett represented the buyers, Jeffrey Zucker and James Kinnaird of The Rhett Group, LLC. Zucker and Kinnaird plan to open a new fast-casual pizza concept, Pizza Persona, in the bustling Clark and Division retail corridor.
