St. Louis-based Sansone Group has closed on the purchase of the 10775 Watson Road retail site in Sunset Hills, Missouri.
The former Sanders Automotive site will now become a 4,345-square-foot retail center called Watson Plaza. The new center will feature a 1,650-square-foot drive-through Starbucks and a 2,695-square-foot Mattress Direct. Construction costs are estimated at $2.5 million, and both stores are scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
Earlier this year, Sansone Group completed a $3 million Walmart-anchored center in Cornelia, Georgia. The 21,820-square-foot development is 100-percent leased. The tenants include CATO, Rue 21, Shoe Show, Great Clips, Little Caesars and Sally Beauty, which brought 75 permanent jobs to the area.
