LANE4 Property Group will develop a state-of-the-art mixed-use project in Downtown Olathe, Kansas. The project will fuse restaurant, library and office uses into a five-story building immediately east of Olathe City Hall on East Santa Fe Street.
Driven by the need for a new, modern Library space, the City of Olathe has teamed with LANE4 to envision a project that will not only serve the current needs, but also ignite the downtown area and create a community-focused place that can grow and transform with the evolution of the city.
The proposed project includes about 70,000 square feet of usable space plus indoor and outdoor common areas. The plan includes space for a signature restaurant, Class-A office space with dramatic views and a rooftop patio, plus ample space for the Olathe Library. The Civic Center Park currently on the site will remain intact and be integrated into the new project.
On Nov. 19, the Olathe City Council unanimously approved a pre-development agreement allowing the project to move forward though the planning and zoning process.
LANE4 has spearheaded multiple development projects throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and currently owns and manages several commercial properties in Olathe.
The project will be presented to the City Council for approval in early 2020 with a ground-breaking later in the year.
