LANE4 Property Group began construction on two sites within the Kansas City metropolitan area for its newest independent senior living development, Novel Place. Located at 95th Street and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas, and Highway 40 and Highway Seven in Blue Springs, Missouri, both locations are expected to open by the summer of 2020.
Each location features 134 apartments in a three-story building with studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans.
“It’s not just about constructing a building, it’s about providing a safe and affordable solution where neighbors can enjoy, support and celebrate each other,” said Deb Wagner, vice president of senior living for LANE4, in a statement.
Omaha, Nebraska-based NewStreet Properties has joined LANE4 as investment partners for both Novel Place locations. Davidson Architecture and Engineering is providing architectural services, while Centric is providing construction services. Academy Bank is providing the financing for Novel Place of Blue Springs and Security Bank for Novel Place of Overland Park.
