LANE4 Property Group has joined the Lee’s Summit Economic Development Council in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, as an investor.
Lane4, which is based in Kansas City, is a commercial real estate broker with a portfolio including retail, mixed-use, office, multi-family, and industrial products. In December 2020, LANE4 acquired the Hartley Building in downtown Lee’s Summit.
“We love the character and history of the Hartley Building. We are looking forward to keeping both of those intact by proactively maintaining the building to keep it in good repair and form, as well as doing all that we can to help ensure the success of our tenants at the Hartley,” said Weston Buckley, LANE4’s vice president.
Buckley said it was important for the company to join the LSEDC when it bought the Hartley building in order to plug in to the community.
LSEDC president and chief executive officer Rick McDowell said that the company is a welcome addition.
“LANE4’s leadership has made it clear that they want to take an active role in our community. We are always happy to have leaders focused on giving back,” McDowell said.
Right now, the Hartley Building is the only Lee’s Summit property in LANE4’s portfolio. However, Buckley said the company is currently working on a large project in the city, which it hopes to announce soon.
In addition to the Hartley Building, LANE4 manages properties throughout the Kansas City region including the Red Bridge Shopping Center in South Kansas City, Cedar Tree Shopping Center in Belton, 95Metcalf South in Overland Park, State Line Shopping Center in Kansas City, and Santa Fe Square in Olathe.
