LaSalle Investment Management announced that Alok Gaur joined the firm as co-head of its Client Capital Group.
He will be based in LaSalle’s headquarters office in Chicago, and will jointly lead the 35 person global client relationship, capital raising, branding and public relations team with Jon Zehner, who based in London.
Alok will become a member of LaSalle’s Global Management Committee supporting the development and execution of the firm’s business strategy. He will report directly into Jeff Jacobson, LaSalle’s Global CEO, and alongside Jon Zehner, lead new business development, investor relationships and product development around the world.
Alok brings with him 22 years of capital raising, client relations, product development and real estate investment management experience to LaSalle. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and Partner at The Carlyle Group where he led the capital raising function for global real estate. Prior to Carlyle, he held senior positions at Greenhill and Co. and Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Private Fund Group where he was involved in a wide variety of capital raising activities for funds and ventures pursuing various real estate investment strategies in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
