Kalbi 8 has signed a long-term lease to occupy space at 1514 U.S. 41 in Schererville, Indiana, bringing a new, interactive Korean BBQ dining concept to the Northwest Indiana market.
The restaurant will introduce a unique, experience-driven approach to dining, allowing guests to cook their meals directly at the table.
The transaction was brokered by John O’Malley of Latitude Commercial, who represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.
Kalbi 8 specializes in Korean BBQ and hot pot, offering a hands-on dining experience that sets it apart from traditional restaurant concepts. Guests select raw ingredients which are then prepared tableside using built-in grills and hot pot setups.
The new restaurant is expected to attract diners from across Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicagoland area, adding to the continued growth of experiential and specialty dining concepts in the region.
