Lawrence Group has begun remediation work, soon to be followed by building demolition, of the City Foundry STL Phase 2 site in St. Louis.
City Foundry STL will be home to food, retail, entertainment and workspace offerings starting in 2019. The development will be housed in one of St. Louis’ oldest industrial structures.
This site includes the main entrance to the first phase while also providing expansion of the overall City Foundry STL development.
The four-acre site sits immediately east of IKEA at Vandeventer Avenue. The Phase 2 site master plan and conceptual images show the main entrance for the City Foundry complex flanked by multiple office buildings of various sizes. The site is also immediately adjacent to the planned path of the Chouteau Greenway trail.
Lawrence Group is presently marketing the site to technology companies that seek to become a part of the greater Cortex Innovation community. Cortex is collaborating with Lawrence Group to bring additional land to the project.
