Ledcor has begun earthwork and site development on a 1.7 million square foot state-of-the-art regional distribution center at Ridgeport Logistics Center. Contracted by Ridge LEGO LLC on behalf of Michelin, Ledcor has ordered steel and precast for the three-building facility and is scheduled to finish the project in the summer of 2015.

RidgePort is a 1,500-acre, rail-served intermodal park with room for 14 million square feet of industrial, warehousing, and logistics buildings, and is being developed by Ridge Development, the industrial arm of Transwestern Development Company. The lead project architect firm is Cornerstone Architects Ltd. in Itasca, IL, and the civil engineering design is being coordinated byManhard Consulting Ltd. in Vernon Hills, IL.
Ledcor has already completed over $8.5 million in infrastructure work at the RidgePort Logistics Center, including a new signalized intersection at Lorenzo Road and Graaskamp Blvd.
