Lee & Associates hired Courtney Knightstep-Buckout as Director in its Houston office. She will lead office landlord representation across the Clear Lake, Houston, and Baytown markets.

In this role, Courtney will oversee the strategic positioning, leasing performance, and value optimization of a substantial portfolio of office assets. She will advise institutional and private owners on asset strategy, tenant engagement, and long-term performance, delivering solutions designed to enhance occupancy, strengthen tenant mix, and maximize investor returns.

Courtney has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and is widely recognized for her disciplined market insight, relationship-driven approach, and ability to execute complex lease negotiations and asset dispositions. Throughout her career, she has successfully structured and negotiated new leases, renewals, and building sales, consistently driving measurable performance improvements for ownership.

Prior to joining Lee & Associates, she held senior leadership roles as Senior Associate at Avison Young and Vice President at Madison Marquette. In those positions, she played a key role in expanding leasing inventory, driving sustained portfolio growth, and elevating asset performance across multiple markets. Her background uniquely combines hands-on transactional expertise with high-level asset strategy, enabling her to deliver both tactical precision and executive-level advisory guidance.

“I’m excited to be joining Lee & Associates and to continue building strong partnerships throughout the Houston region,” said Courtney. “The Houston office market continues to evolve, and ownership groups need proactive, data-driven leasing strategies to stay competitive. I’m focused on helping our clients strengthen asset performance, enhance tenant experience, and position their properties for long-term success across the Clear Lake, Houston, and Baytown markets.”

“Courtney’s depth of experience and strategic mindset make her an exceptional addition to our Houston team,” said Chris Lewis, Managing Principal, SIOR. “She understands how to create value for ownership beyond the transaction itself, aligning leasing strategy with long-term asset performance. Her ability to cultivate strong client relationships while driving results will further strengthen our platform across the Houston region”.
