Legal veteran elected to Reinhart’s board of directors

Deborah Tomczyk

Shareholder Deborah Tomczyk has been elected to the board of directors of Milwaukee-based law firm Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. for a three-year term effective July 1.

Tomczyk is chair of Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice and chair of the firm’s Entitlement Sub-practice Group. She counsels clients in all aspects of real estate development, structuring deals, obtaining financing and permits, and overseeing projects to their successful completion.

Tomczyk’s specialties include government relations, zoning, land use, eminent domain, licensing, tax increment financing and business improvement districts.

Tomczyk previously chaired and continues to serve on the public affairs committee of Wisconsin’s chapter of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, donating her time to promote public policies favorable to the commercial real estate industry. A past president of the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women and a former delegate for National CREW Network, Tomczyk currently serves on the board of the Wisconsin Policy Forum.
