The Lend Lease Chicago office completed the construction of the Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown – The Loop, a brand new sustainable hotel located at 28 North Franklin, in the heart of Chicago’s Downtown Loop Area.
Working in collaboration with Palmetto Hospitality Group of Chicago, LLC, OTO Development and VOA Architects, Lend Lease provided Construction Management services for the new 18-story, 143,000 sf hotel featuring 206 guest rooms ranging from king, king studio, queen and ADA room types. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities including an over 1,300 sf exercise facility on the third floor, an indoor pool on the second floor and over 2,000 square feet of meeting room space. The building is targeting LEED-NC Silver certification.
Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown – The Loop opened its doors on June 24, approximately two months ahead of schedule.
