The Lerner Company and RED Development announced the addition of grocery store Aldi to Settlers Creek, an about 250,000-square-foot shopping center in Papillion, Nebraska, in the Omaha market.
Construction is underway at the development site at South 72nd Street and Cornhusker Road. The new store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2024.
Aldi will open a 20,000-square-foot store located between the existing Sam’s Club and Hobby Lobby stores. This will be Aldi’s 12th location in Nebraska and first in Papillion.
Settlers Creek is anchored by Sam’s Club, Hobby Lobby and Walgreens. Other national retailers include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Smoothie King and AT&T.
